Last day of 2006..had loads of fun for the past three weeks of term holiday. Spend few days at Milan with Bee and her friends...Kiki, Masnur, Syaz & Syafiq... :) Although the trip to Milan was not as great as expected...but the lake outside Milan was gorgeous, Italian guys are not doubt very very lawa, and on top of that, we had great company on the trip...each with their own humour...;) And to all the shopaholic, it is a definite heaven for shopping...all the designer goods are there...u name it!! :)

After the Milan trip, spent two days in London. Met up with a friend whom I haven't met for ages...was a brief but great catch up... got a good view of the London Bridge...quite breathtaking. Will take pics there next time when i got the chance. :)

Had dinner with Ben at a Lebanese restaurant around Edgware Road. Was delicious. And had breakfast the next day at a French restaurant somewhere around Hammersmith..and that was really nyaman!!

Continued my journey with Bee all the way to Bolton for Christmas. First time on the megabus...it was very unsystematic. Everyone was pushing around to get on the bus.. lucky for us, we get to sit next to each other :)

And now im gona spend New year with my family in Bolton and goin back to Canterbury in a few days time where there will be more updates :)

And there are no pictures at the moment for the Milan trip...will post it once I receive the pics from the rest.

Have a happy new year and may 2007 be a more prosperous year for all of us :)

Luv,
me

Happy Advance Merry Christmas to everyone!!

Hope it will be a good one :)
Why do we do that?

Days passed into weeks, weeks passed into months, then its time to submit your work or whatever... U had all the time in the world...to do whatever u have to do...but then you all did was let time passed by and struggle towards the end to catch time. Why do we do that?

Be it us students....or working men and women...some of them will left things to the end before doing it..but why do we do that?

It is because we will do better under pressure...we're just doing it for adrenaline rush...plain lazy...or taking time for granted...etc etc etc.

The thing is...Ive been doing that...reading dari awal..then when its time to do work..i realized that ive read too much that i dont know where to focus...then once i start typing...its takes too long to siap altho i know time is running out...

Its so annoying...but its happening. So im thinking...why do i and others do that?

Anywy, im just saying this out loud...just for the sake of it.
First day holiday....

Whats a better way to start ur first day holiday bangun akhir....wrapped under the duvet...then makan without mandi and without brushing ur gigi (*i know*i know*..haha)

Then we mandi and belawa.... outcomes below:...

Hehe...So, wat do u guys fikir about the new tudung styles..:) Have lots of pashmina to do that next term :)

Anyway, looking at this pics... i just realize that my mata is macam cina...and ive been in denial the whole morning...haha... and to family family saya di brunei..and friends as well... MY MATA MACAM CINA KAH??
Last day of term

So..to end our first term here di UKC...we had a Girls only night in at our place. It was a night we've been looking since last week...since uni work has been keeping us down and under our own duvet to remain sane and siapkan all the due assignments.

Anyway, back to my cerita...girls were looking beautiful in their make up and gorgeous dress...some in black...green...red...blink blink...its a night for the girls to put their hair down, no tudung and be as sexy as u want to be :) And for that reason, no pics will be put in this blog...*censored*..hehehe.

Met new faces...Wani & Jira..Jirin's sisters...and someone ive just met last mth...Bell...and the gurls from Kent..my luvly housemate Nadz, d hyper weekender...Rabz, d blink blink gurl..Afif.. d bday gurl...Melo...and pink flower gurl...Anisah..:)...2 gurls...Syamim and Ani unfortunately had to go back early.

Menu: Tiramisu, Chips, meatballs, Pizza, cherries in our sparkling carbonated drinks..and a few more things that i cant relly remember now..hehe.

Birthday surprise for Melo...hehe...and a surprise cake which left her speechless ...;p

Had a long session of Taboo.....the Vogues vs Cosmopolitans...it was a good night. It was a perfect night to go crazy and be brain dead..haha...thus, occasionally some find it difficult to descibe something simple...or even more difficult to describe the difficult ones. haha. blur!!

And followed by a movie of Moulin Rouge which managed to make all the hyper gurls quiet last night....touched by Christian's luvly voice and Satine's deep eyes...with their heart piercing and tearful lyrics...a very touching movie as the show must go on despite whatever..

Anyway...it was a tiring one as we kep on eating and drinking in between games...
and i ended up chatting to a dear friend of mine till early hours..while watching disney world cartoon as all of us (5 of us) slept infront of the TV.

Thats the update about how spent our last day of term :)

Holiday...here we come :)

Finally..first term is over. I guess I have been waiting for this although its only going to be 3 weeks, which if u think about it is not that long...especially when I have one essay to do over the hols.

And I am looking forward to spend my holiday with baby and her friends di Milan..it should be fun!! I'm going to pack tomorrow night..hehe..first have to buy coach ticket to London first :)

Anyway, tomorrow is exactly 3mths since I've reach London. Although its been only 3 mths...I personally feels like its been for ages..simply because I didnt start off well here in Canterbury. And since then, there are always something happening beyond my control.

My days in Canterbury started with three weeks of me being homeless due to the lousy service given by one of the local house agent. Then Natwest kept on sending my new card to Leeds although Ive been telling them that I am now in Kent. And then my purse got stolen, my assignments macam inda mau siap siap and then the worse is now...my laptop rosak.

How funny is that? I've never experienced sooo many mishaps in such a short period. I was like thinking...bad feng shui kah...haha..

But despite all that, I am still positive of how things will unfold itself next term :) And I am wishing *hopefully* next year will be a better turn for me..with less events like this term. .:) mentally exhausted saya. hehe.

So let time unfold itself next year for the better...:)

Forwarded Email : Something to be aware about...just incase its true

Ladies Period Caution

It has been a traditional theory that ladies are not suppose to
wash their hair during their period.

But there are no solutions to the question why? The victim will only realise at their later stage of their life, facing the symptoms of breast and ovary cancer.

Today ladies still wash their hair during their period with the thinking that they will be safe if they blow dry their hair. But this will not prevent them from getting the cancer. Please read the article below:

A well known Taiwanese medical professor specialise in cancer research based in a Japanese university did a survey on 30,000 pre cancer patients.

She found these patients are very choosy in their food, wash their hair during their period and carry heavy object and drink cold drinks. This will course the incomplete of ovulation and the remaining menses will turn into toxic and the imbalance of hormone will lead to ovary and breast cancer.

During the research she found the method of prevention to these cancer. The secrets are;

One must change their lifestyle and eating habits.

Do not wash our hair while having period, do not wash your hair just for the cooling effect and contraction of ovary.

Excessive bleeding must be investigated by a gynae.

No cold drinks.

If you feel drowsy, breast expansion and constipation, these are the early symptom of ovary or breast cancer.

To prevent use:

Black sugar

Chinese lotus (leng ngau)

Carrot and Barley

Boil to soup and drink. This is the best prevention.

Another long road walking towards the house

And finally, the house I was 'hunting' for.

On the toppest floor, there are 4 small english styled bedrooms for students or whoever who wants to stay there. Mine would have been the window on the very right on the third floor. hehe. But there were a couple of 'jangan stay there' vibes wafi n i got from the house and its occupants. So, thats it. But it was a lovely house.

End of part 1

Random flashback...conversation with a friend

Last month, I had a very interesting conversation with a dear friend of mine, lets call him Mr. O…online about random topics…but one of the topics left me thinking… trying to make sense out of it. I was trying to reflect on it and see the logical side of it. It was about long distance relationship.

Many people would go ‘OH NO, NOT AGAIN!!’…but we have to admit that no matter how frequent we talk about relationships; long distance or not, or how we always say that we have made up our mind about a person...whether to love, like or dislike…some who decides to be friends will find themselves back in love again and for some it will be back as friends again…how amusing is that? Our life is like a drama whether we like it or not.

And although we have endless discussions about this topic… it is STILL an interesting topic to talk about again and again...although it might be about the same person, again and again. I don’t know whether to pity ourselves or its just some random memory we CHOOSE to keep alive.

And although we have endless discussions about this or how we keep on telling ourselves, ‘Oh, we are just friends…or I am over him / I am over her or I will never be with him / her again etc... But when we are face with the situation, we often find ourselves re-thinking about it despite US telling ourselves that we have made up our minds earlier on.

Some may ask…what is Cells talking about? I ask myself the same question.

But the conservation with Mr. O sparked all sorts of questions in my head. He was talking about a girl he likes, who he keeps in touch whenever both parties are not busy and remain friends… not more than that. And due to distance, he said that he will not put enormous hope on himself and the girl to be together walaupun they do like each other.

I asked why… he said it is so hard to expect someone to wait for another person when RELATIONSHIP REQUIRES ONESELF TO BE PRESENT. Plus u can’t expect any commitment of those sorts from a long distance thingy.

So it made me think…is being present in the physical self REALLY important? Padahal people always say that distance makes the heart grows fonder. Mr. O said it does makes the heart grows fonder…however, u cant put high expectations on it coz you are at different part of the world…experiencing different things...knowing different people…etc.

So being present in the heart and mind is NOT ENOUGH to keep the relationship going. Mr. O said Presence is important…being there…at the same place... doing things together etc is important. It’s something about the bonding factor etc. He said its like a padi field; How can padi grow well if the farmer is not there to plant the seeds, water and look after it bisai bisai till the harvest season. Surprisingly, his analogy makes sense. Well, atleast I think so.

But I personally think if you are really into the other person, then distance doesn’t really matter especially now that everything is so high-tech. As long as you keep in touch…don’t be SELFISH and DO MAKE TIME for the other party…and of course the feeling mesti jua ada masih..then all should be fine. Although I know its not as easy as Ive wrote it down here...but if u really like / love the guy / girl... then u will TRY & MAKE it happen. But of course, some will say that u cant throw ur time for this person forever...so i guess TIME LIMIT is also important. And 2 or 3 chances is enough to be given away to one person.
Anyway, I think I’ve said enough for now. Will probably write more next time.
This is just me rambling nonsense…just trying to write out my thoughts…but then, I think its worth thinking about. Any personal thoughts?? :)
